FAQ's
How does the subscription work?
Sign up as a member, then subscribe to a weekly or bi-weekly provision bundle (pick up on Thursdays).
You have until Monday at 11:59pm weekly/bi-weekly to add extra goodies. Your basket will be added to your cart and charged to the method of payment on your account at midnight Tuesday, with pick-up on Thursdays from 1pm to 5pm.
Pick-up is at 44561 Skylark Road, Chilliwack, BC.
Do I have to be a member to subscribe, or can I order week-to-week?
You must be a member to order online and we are a subscription model. However, you can choose between a weekly or bi-weekly subscription.
Do I choose or substitute the items in my subscription basket?
The weekly basket will always include 1.89 liters of milk, sandwich loaf and a dozen eggs, baskets are preset and cannot be changed. Each week we curate a list of local features that you can select to add to your weekly pickup based on what is in season, what our partnered farms have to offer, and what's delicious! We aim to provide a changing variety of produce from week to week and throughout the year.
Can I cancel or put my subscription on hold?
Yes, you can easily hold or cancel your subscription by logging into your account and selecting the PAUSE option in your account settings. We kindly ask that you do so before Sunday at midnight, but you have until Monday at 11:59pm before your method of payment is charged.
Our subscription service is year-round, so it will continue unless paused or cancelled.
What if I want more milk, bread or eggs?
You can easily add on more products, plus an ever-increasing host of produce, dairy, and meat.
We find that 1 subscription is adequate for a household of 2-3 people. We recommend doubling up on your subscription if you have 4-6 people in your household or adding a third subscription for 6+ people.
Do you deliver?
We do not deliver. Our pickup location is in Chilliwack.
What is regenerative farming?
Regenerative agriculture is a combination of farming practices that increase biodiversity, enrich soils, restore watersheds, and enhance ecosystems. By investing in the health of our soil through natural fertilizers, crop rotation, and companion cropping, we can help draw carbon back into the soil, and boost the nutrients in our food.
This is a whole ecosystem view of farming, with techniques drawn from organic, biodynamic, biological, and holistic agri systems. Over time, farmers who adopt these practices will reduce their input costs, and become more resilient to extreme weather and a changing climate.
Is the packaging reusable?
Yes! Please return these items on Thursday when you pick up your fresh order.
Egg cartons: keep cracked eggshells out of the cardboard cartons so we can bring them back to the farm and use again.
Milk bottles: rinse out with soapy water so it's easier for us to sanitize (and less stinky for our workers)
Basket and thermos bag: shake out any crumbs and return.
Thank you for helping us meet our commitments for sustainable packaging!
